Sadly, I know several people who have encountered the Married Dater (MD): the men and women who pose as singles so they can date singles.

Sometimes, the MD’s spouse thinks he or she is in a happy, loving relationship. Wrong. Other times, the MD is separated, but still he or she checks “Single” on the online dating relationship status box...
